Sabrina spent many childhood summers in France, visiting extended family and exploring the shops and markets of Paris with her French mother. In addition to fostering a lifelong love of French art and culture, it was on these trips that she began to collect antique prints and etchings.
A fine arts graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Sabrina Black is a New York City-based artist and designer with extensive experience in the corporate design world. Prior to founding her own award-winning design firm Sabrina Black Design in 2005, she held senior design positions at Colgate Palmolive, Orlane Paris, Max Factor and Clairol.
Sabrina is excited to bring her own unique sensibility to this series of florals that are inspired by the classic engravings and hand-colored prints from the 18th and 19th centuries but illustrated with a modern sensibility.
